One Fix Pro System Management

Welcome to One Fix Pro

If you’re reading this, you are likely facing difficulties with your irrigation control system. Like the many other “smart” devices in your life, it can present more of a headache than help. Few people want more apps, another login to remember, and more software to learn. Some systems and programming are so complicated that they can feel inaccessible. Don’t worry, we’ve installed hundreds of controllers and manage them on a regular basis. We’ll take care of all the programming for you. Healthy irrigation systems are easy and inexpensive to maintain. Inversely, broken down systems are exponentially more costly.

Controllers

First things first. There are lots of options for smart controllers. Of all of the manufacturers, we manage four brands. We’re not scared of the others, we just don’t like them yet. Taking into account years of testing, price comparison, and functionality we’ve picked the best ones. If you have one of the following, you qualify for our services.

  1. Hunter: Hydrawise

  2. Hunter: Centralus

  3. Rachio

  4. Baseline

How it works

Maybe you have a postage stamp lawn with one zone needing seasonal and overseed updates. Perhaps you manage a community built around a golf course with 200 zones. Both controllers need the same thing: regular programming. One Fix Pro has a plan for any size of system. Needless to say, there is a huge variance in the programming needed for each system. We offer three different plans to accommodate each site’s unique needs. The following checklist will help determine what plan is best suited to your system. We’ll confirm that your selections are optimal for your irrigation needs and onboard you into our system. That's it. Your irrigation will work without you touching it (in fact, we’d prefer that you don’t).

The Plans

  • This will take care of basic programming needs for small to medium sized systems (usually under 20 zones). If you pick this option, we’ll log into your controller on a seasonal basis and make sure the programs are optimized and running correctly. We’ll adjust for Spring startup, Summer increase, two overseeding adjustments and Winter cooldown. First, we will examine your site to confirm that this is the correct plan for you. Then we will schedule your overseed programming windows. After that, we’ll keep the programming up to date. We understand that things change, so you can always contact us to move around the dates of your scheduling. Management is not just scheduling your irrigation run times; it’s also about keeping track of the health of its components. Smart controllers provide alerts about wiring and solenoid issues, connectivity, and even line breaks and valve problems. So, each time we login to your system, we don’t just set a timer; we check the system for errors and alerts as well as update runtimes (hence our term “audit”).

    Cost: $175/yr (billed yearly).

  • This option is designed to work with medium to large irrigation systems. Between 20 and 70 zones requires a lot more attention than smaller systems. We will login monthly to audit your control system and keep tabs on the many components (including decoders, wiring, errors, connectivity, master valves, main lines, leaks, and scheduling etc). Systems this size function significantly better with professionals regularly logged in to the software. Using your preferred method of communication (email, text, phone call), we will notify you of any issues to keep your system online and efficient.

    Cost: $25/mo (billed monthly).

  • This option is typically for large systems above 70 zones. These are the maintenance-heavy systems and require constant attention. Managing these systems goes much beyond scheduling and alerts. Everything from flow source calibration to sensor-based inputs to managing IP addresses are all factors in these systems. In some cases there are hundred of lines of code necessary to filter through just to get issues solved. The flip side of the difficulties with these controllers is their exteme capability. Leave the headache with us and enjoy the features. Needless to say, each of these systems requires custom system management. If this plan is for you, we’ll write up a custom audit plan.

Cost: we will write a custom proposal for your site.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • You can add audits to your plan anytime you’d like. Simply tell us when and we’ll add it to our scheduler. Additional audits can help fill in any programming gaps or changes to your landscape that require more programming than your plan provides.

    Cost: $35 per Audit

  • Seeing your system in person is extremely helpful when scheduling and troubleshooting. Aside from our initial setup, we don’t make regular site visits. While your landscape maintenance teams are regularly on site, they may not look at the irrigation systems with the level of detail that we do. Schedule as many site visits per year as necessary (between one and four are typical depending on the size of your system).

Cost: $95 per site visit/programming (billed monthly).

  • Arguably the most important tool for a well-maintained irrigation system is the flow sensor. It can record water usage, detect leaks, and give you peace of mind about all watering flowing through your irrigation system. The key to using it is knowing what to look for. We’ll do a deep dive into your system and analyze your system’s water usage. We’ll give you a full report with water usage, zone leaks, mainline leaks, valve issues and the appropriate recomendations. Pick how often you’d like to recieve this report.

Cost: $35/report (billed monthly or yearly).

  • Choose this option of you want to keep constant tabs on your system. You’ll recieve unlimited programming requests for as many people as needed. You, your employees, maintenance professioinals, and anyone else necessary will have access to our portal. Each user can make requests, view reports and maps, and view the status of your system.

    Cost: $45/mo (billed monthly).

GUIDELINES

One Fix Pro is how we keep track of many complex sites all at once. We will regularly be checking in on all control systems based on each contract. Our portal will store all system changes, requests, and recommendations. Keep in mind that we will not be making regular site visits (unless scheduled). This means that we will not see every issue to arise on site; our primary function is controller programming, maintenance, and system analysis. We guarantee that at the time of each scheduled controller audit, we will assess and report on the condition of the system. For requests, please give 24 hours for our team to assess and respond. In the case of emergency or urgent programming, call us at our emergency number (505-321-2858). One Fix Pro works best when all involved parties make request inputs directly into our portal.

What is an Audit?

We use the term “audit” to describe our process for keeping your system fully operational. This includes deep dives into your system’s functions including scheduling, diagnostics, wiring, solenoids, flow parameters, valves, leaks, connectivity, and alerts.
